Why is it so hard being bi sexual?

I came out to my best friend in the whole world four months ago she took it really well and was cool about it . I am 14 years old and a girl. We started to become better friends and I slowly fell in love with her ( I know I may be too young but it feels like love ) . She told me that she was bi sexual a month ago . I told her my feelings last night and she freaked out she said it's not you it's me and then she told me that I have great taste . I found the whole convo kinda rude . She has been texting me all day today and I just want to cry when I look at the screen . What should I do? Should I forget about her all together ?
